Our team have been recognised as a finalist in the Commercial Interior Designer category, and our fit out project at 23 Womanby Street has been shortlisted under Transformation.
The awards celebrate the best of the Cardiff property sector, from residential to commercial, lettings and new builds. The winners will be announced on the 8th November at a ceremony taking place at The Exchange Hotel in Cardiff.
The Commercial Interior Designer award recognises companies who have delivered impressive and fit-for-purpose interiors to commercial clients in the past 12 months, achieving customer satisfaction.
The Transformation award celebrates a renovation, restoration or transformation project in the Cardiff area. Judges are looking for innovation, and sustainability in a project where old becomes new.
Powell worked on the refurbishment works at 23 Womanby Street, a five-storey warehouse building on one of the oldest, most iconic and creative streets in Cardiff. Works included strip out of old nightclub, bar and offices. Powell also completed the CAT B fit out works for the tenant, Gaunt Francis Architects.
Gareth Knight, Group Operations and Technical Director, Powell commented: “Being named as finalists is testament to the hard work of our design and contracts team and we’re looking forward to celebrating a very successful year for the company. Alan Francis, Managing Director, Gaunt Francis Architects commented: “Powell understood our aims for the space and the finished results are perfect, our new look office has been well received and our team are enjoying using the space.
Good luck to all the finalists on Friday 8th November.
