Mon Motors Group is a family-run company and one of the largest automotive dealer groups in South Wales and the West of England. Mon Motors Group recently opened a purpose-built Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) centre, based in Chepstow. Following a successful relationship, and the previous fit out works at Cardiff Audi, Powell was selected for the design, fit out and furniture of the office accommodation at the PDI centre.

Project management
Exposed ceilings throughout the ground floor were introduced into the design, as well as new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC). We took the shell of the building and equipped it for functional office use. This included dry lining of outer shell, electrical works, flooring and tiling.
In the Reception, we implemented a bespoke desk from Narbutas, as well as a stand-out moss wall panel feature.
Furniture from a range of manufacturers was sourced, including modern desking from Senator and Humanscale to the first-floor offices. Orangebox breakout furniture, meeting tables, chairs and task chairs were also included into the office and meeting rooms, as well as a storewall system containing personal lockers, coat store, and file storage.
On the ground floor, the injection of colour in the canteen chairs from Elite compliments the white brick wall panels in the kitchen.
